Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor director, producer, playwright, teacher, and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton, being the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for productions as a young girl and observing her mother doing her job. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade following, she relocated into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. They were weddings in the month of December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows during the Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured in CNN's top TV couple list.
