Her new-found fame was translated into roles on the big screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and other films. The actress then gave an outstanding performance in the role of Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii as part of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. At the same time, her roles as a leading lady in flops that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. Then, she was able to play characters that were prominent in animation films, such as Kung Fu Panda. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia didn't yield any results.
