Fearless became a worldwide hit and not just in North America (where it was certified as platinum six times for Top Ten Hits Love Story and "You Belong with Me") however, in Canada, Australia as well as the U.K. and other countries. Swift took off to the peak of her game after the release of Speak Now. With her subsequent three albums, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017), Swift's popularity grew and she found herself in a music scene with a clear sense of where she was a part of. In the end, when she refocused her music to the stripped-down versions of 2020, folklore, and Evermore but she was still in the top spot. This position was maintained through re-recordings of her previous catalog, as along with Midnights which was her chart-topping synth heavy 2022 album.
